Local SEO
Show up for the searches that bring the right jobs
Local SEO is the work that helps people nearby find you on Google — on Maps and in regular search — when they type the services you offer. The goal isn’t just more leads. It’s more of the work that actually matters to your business.
A plumber doesn’t only want another drain to unclog. They’d rather show up when someone needs a new-construction install. A landscaper might want patio builds more than one-off lawn cuts. We aim the Google Business Profile at those searches — categories, services, and the description — not every related search in the trade.
The listing works better when the reviews, the posts, the directory listings, and the words on your website say the same thing. We do that work, send the report, and stay honest about what Google controls and what we can actually fix.
What we work on
This isn’t a vague promise to “do SEO.” A current listing still looks neglected if the directories are wrong and the photos stopped months ago.
01
Google Business Profile care
Your Google Business Profile is the Maps listing. Description, services, categories, attributes, and the questions people ask. We set those around the jobs you want, then keep them current. For a lot of local businesses, that listing does as much work as the website.
02
Suggestions for your website
Most of the time we send SEO suggestions for the site you already have — for example, we provide you with the code snippets for embedding your Google reviews and posts, we generate FAQs specific to your business, provide structured schema markup, SEO enhanced meta descriptions, and more. If you need a new site built, we can talk about that too. The day-to-day work is still the listing, the posts, the directories, and the report.
03
Posts and photos
We publish posts and photos on the Google listing, and the same kind of update on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok. No recent photos makes the listing look abandoned. We’re not running ads — we’re keeping the profile from going quiet.
04
Directory listings
Citations are the other places your business is listed online. Wrong name, address, or phone on those sites confuses Google. We add the ones you’re missing and fix the outdated ones across dozens of directories. We also ensure your NAP (Name, Address, Phone) is consistent across all online listings.
05
Map and AI visibility reports
Each month you can see where the listing shows up on Google Maps across the area you serve, including neighborhoods away from the shop. We also check whether ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity mention the business. The report shows what happened. It doesn’t promise the map will get better, or that those tools will recommend you.
For review asks, replies, and catch-up on unanswered ones, see review management. Pricing gets agreed before anyone is billed. The free audit is a good place to start so we’re looking at your listing, not a generic pitch.
