Get found on Google — and don’t let the reviews go quiet.

Muscott Digital helps local businesses show up on Google search results and prevents the listing from going stale. This includes the profile, the reviews, the posts, the directories, and the places your name shows up around the web.

We don’t run ads. For the website, we usually send SEO suggestions for the site you already have — but we can build one for you if you need it. If customers search for a shop like yours nearby, this is the work we do.

Looking good from your own front door isn’t enough.

Search your business from the shop and you’ll usually look like the obvious pick. You’re standing on the pin. A few miles away — where customers actually live — that same listing can disappear.

And when someone does find you, they often check the reviews next. A thin review section, or a bunch of comments with no reply, is enough to send them to the next shop. The listing and the reviews show up together. We work on both.

What we work on

Here’s the stuff we handle. None of it does much alone. When they match, Google and the customer get a clearer picture of the business.

  1. 01

    The Google listing

Your Google Business Profile is the Maps listing people see before they call. We set the description, services, categories, and the other details around the jobs you want — then keep them from going stale. A plumber who wants new-construction installs needs a different listing than one that only says “plumber.” If that part is vague, the posts and reviews are talking about a business Google doesn’t really understand yet.

  2. 02

    Suggestions for your website

Most of the time we send SEO suggestions for the site you already have — titles, service pages, and the words that should match the Google listing. If you need a new site built, we can talk about that too.

  3. 03

    Reviews

After a job, we can ask for a Google review by text, email, or a QR code. We watch what comes in, including reporting the negative ones to Google for possible removal. Replies get written and posted so you aren’t typing thank-yous from the truck — and they mention the work the customer wrote about, not a copy-paste line. People read those before they call.

  4. 04

    Posts and photos

A listing with no recent photos looks abandoned. We publish posts to your Google Business Profile with your own photos, and can publish the same updates on your social media accounts like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok. We’re not buying ad space. We’re building a tangible asset that will always stay with your business.

  5. 05

    Directory listings

Your name, address, and phone show up on other sites too. Those are called citations. If they’re wrong or missing, they fight with what Google has. We add the ones you’re missing and fix the outdated ones across a bunch of directories.

  6. 06

A monthly look at where you show up

Each month you get a map of where the listing appears across the area you serve — including neighborhoods away from the shop. We also check whether ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity mention you when someone asks for the kind of work you do. That report shows what work was done and where you showed up.

More detail on the listing, posts, directories, and report is on the local SEO page. Review asks and replies are on the reviews page.

How it works

No long pitch. No annual lock-in unless we both agree to one in writing. You stay in control of your listing and your accounts.

  1. 01

    Free audit

Start with a free look at your Google Business Profile. You’ll see what’s missing, how the reviews look, and where you show up around town. No credit card.

  2. 02

    Setup

If you hire us, we write down where things stand so later reports have something real to compare against. You stay the owner of your listing and accounts.

  3. 03

    Ongoing work

We do the work and send you the detailed report at the end of each month. No contract, no commitment, no lock-in. Everything is month-to-month.

Muscott Digital, LLC — Michigan

Muscott Digital, LLC is owned and operated by Kevin Muscott and based in Michigan. We work with local businesses that need to show up when someone nearby searches — and keep up with the reviews that follow.

You’ll talk with a real person. The work is the listing, the reviews, the posts, the directories, SEO suggestions for your site, and the monthly report. If it’s outside that, we’ll say so.

Common questions

What do you actually do?
We keep your Google Business Profile in shape, ask for reviews and reply to them, post updates and photos on Google and on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, fix your name/address/phone on directory sites, and send a monthly report of where you show up on the map. We also check whether tools like ChatGPT mention your business, and we usually send SEO suggestions for the website you already have. We’re a small digital marketing agency — not a full-service shop.
What is local SEO?
Local SEO is the work that helps people nearby find you on Google Maps and in local search. For us that means the Google Business Profile, directory listings, posts and photos, reviews, a monthly look at where you show up, and SEO suggestions for the site you already have. The point isn’t just more leads. It’s more of the jobs you actually want.
Do you run our social media?
We post updates and photos on your Google listing and on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. We don’t buy ads, redesign your brand, or run a separate social campaign.
Will this put us first on Google?
No. We can’t promise a #1 spot, a set number of leads, or that ChatGPT will recommend you. Google changes all the time, and results also change by neighborhood. We do the work, keep at it, and show you where the listing actually appears so you can see what’s happening.
How does pricing work?
We quote a price for your business before anything is billed. There’s no rate card on the site. The free audit doesn’t start a bill. There’s no annual contract unless we both put one in writing.
Who owns the Google Business Profile?
You do. You stay the owner while we work on it. If you stop, the profile stays yours.
Who is this for?
Mostly local service businesses — plumbers, HVAC, roofers, electricians, painters, and shops like that. If customers find you on Google (or should), this is for you.

More on the listing, reviews, the free audit, and how long things take is on the FAQ page.

Start with a look at your listing.

The free Google Business Profile audit is a good first step. If the listing or the reviews need work, we’ll tell you. If they don’t, we’ll say that too.
